What I Do in a Day to Stay Healthy in a Busy Season đ
Lifeâs full and fast right nowâclient check-ins, preschooler mom life, and ALL the spring events.
I recently saw a post on Instagram calling the month of May âMaycemberâ because itâs quickly starting to feel like the chaos of Decemberâjam-packed calendars, endless errands, and all the end-of-year activities.
But staying healthy doesnât have to mean complicated routines or hours in the kitchen. Hereâs how I keep my body supported when lifeâs in go-mode:
âïž Morning:
Wake up, scripture (especially from a read aloud app with light background music) + red light therapy or real sunshine for 10 minutes
20â30g of protein in my first mealâusually pastured or organic eggs, Applegate or Teton Waters sausage, or a smoothie with Just Ingredients protein
Electrolytes with minerals before coffee (hydration first always đ§)
Coffee with my hormone-supportive creamer (collagen, healthy fats, adaptogens)
đ» Midday:
I stack client calls, protocol planning, and content creation into focused work blocks (I like keeping overhead lights off and window shades wide open for more natural light.)
Lunch = simple, blood sugar-balanced: protein + fiber-rich veggies + healthy fat
A short walk outside after lunch for movement and sunlight âïž (treadmill/stationary bike if the weather isnât cooperating!)
Supplements based on my current protocol (yes, I rotate them just like I do for my clients!)
đż Afternoon Reset:
A nourishing snackâRawr bar, cashews + apple slices, bone broth, or a Chomps stick
Add in relaxing music or take a quiet moment if Iâm overstimulated
â I always keep stress support tools on hand, like the Anxiety Relief roller from Rowe CasaI also like adding in herbal teas or a second round of electrolytes for some hydration
đ Evening:
Early dinner with my family (we keep it simple: meat, veggie, carb)
No screens after 8pm (as best we can), plus magnesium and topical creams with essential oils to support sleep
Red light therapy before bed to wind down, oxygenate tissues, and soothe sore muscles or joints
In bed by 10:00ânon-negotiable. Sleep is my best detox đ«
Itâs not about perfectionâitâs about staying consistent with the foundations.
